I’ve always believed that an image is worth a thousand words. That’s why I think I went on to study advertising and design. Ever since I was a kid I had a great interest for art in general; art was always my favorite class and drawing (and video games) my favorite hobby. Nowadays, I can say I’m happy working with something I love so much. But, anyways… I was going through some of the sites I usually read and ran into a post I really enjoyed. Although I think photojournalism isn’t that great of a source of art or storytelling, once in a while you find some photographers who manage to capture an every day event in a beautiful, eye-catching photograph and still tell a great story with it. It really puts you in there, shocks you with the raw truth, makes you feel the pain of deception, the happiness of victory… all emotions that I personally think many journalists can not give us in a 10,000 word article.
And that’s why I liked this post so much. Amazing pictures with many different emotions, many different stopries. I found it on noupe.com.
