I ran into this graphical representation of the possibilities of requirements for working on a design project a few times before. But this time I decided to spread it out a bit more. Of course, this is applied to all design, not just graphic design.
Although I believe the following chart is fairly accurate, I still believe in doing the best possible job for the client I work with. If a prospect client and I disagree on parameters for the job, I’d rather not do it than fall into the “crappy” categories represented on the graph below. That’s why I only take on clients I can guarantee a good amount of dedication to. After all, it’s their business we are helping grow and, consequentially, we are helping ourselves grow too.
